2009 Tennis

Tennis: Coach Bernie McGuire led the tennis team to a playoff victory in the first round, defeating Laurence Manning Academy. In the second round, the Lady Skyhawks fought hard but could not get past a tough Ashley Hall squad. Congratulations to the tennis team on a great season!

Volleyball 2009

Volleyball: The Lady Skyhawks finished the state tournament 3-2, losing in the quarterfinal match against Cardinal Newman. Hammond played well and finished the season fighting hard to the last point, and making us all proud.

2009 Equestrian

Equestrian: The equestrian team, a year-round sport at Hammond, continues to amass victories, both team and individual. At their most recent show, the varsity team finished 3rd in a very competitive field, and the middle school team also finished third. We look for many great things to come for our Equestrian team!

Golf End of Season

Golf: Under the leadership of Coach Fred Wadsworth, the Lady Skyhawks Golf team won an amazing come-from-behind state competition to claim their first ever state title. They edged arch-rival Heathwood Hall, trailing with three holes to go, and pulling out a victory. Congratulations, ladies, and Coach Wadsworth!
